SleekMover won Portugal D1 from pole to claim a first IMS victory for Haas. TheMekanic17 recovered from 11th to second for Red Bull and Wadz51 finished third from third for Ferrari.
The winner's 31 points supplied more than half of Haas's 61-point round. It was the team's only victory, podium and top-five finish across eight starts.
A win separates two teams on 61
Haas and Kick Sauber both scored 61 BOTT points in Portugal. SleekMover's victory gave Haas the decisive top result, while Kick Sauber's best finish was Uhmm What9409's D3 second place.
The broader round belonged to Red Bull on 188 points, followed by Ferrari on 166 and VCARB on 106. Haas's success was concentrated rather than deep, but a first win is a useful concentration.
TheMekanic closes the D1 gap
Piastrigoat retained the D1 lead on 105 points, 12 ahead of TheMekanic on 93. The runner-up's 10-place recovery strengthened that championship challenge, but SleekMover kept the race result for himself.
Texas came next with SleekMover established as an IMS winner and Haas carrying a round defined almost entirely by one car at the front. The pole had been converted; the rest of the team score showed how much it mattered.
