MaTowRL climbed from seventh on the Monaco D1 grid to finish third and earn a first IMS podium for Aston Martin. ForestalWaif1 won from second and piastrigoat took second from fourth.

The four-place recovery was the largest movement among the podium finishers. All three advanced from their grid positions, giving D1 a top three built entirely from forward progress.

Aston Martin finds two podiums in six starts

Aston Martin scored 74 BOTT points from six starts, with two podiums and two top-five finishes. MaTow supplied one; NesbiLeGrand's D3 second place supplied the other.

The team total sat outside the top three of VCARB, Ferrari and McLaren. Aston Martin's Mystery Race success came through podium efficiency rather than enough depth to challenge their 204, 194 and 154 points.

Piastrigoat extends the D1 lead

Piastrigoat's second place raised the Ferrari driver to 200 points, 16 ahead of TheMekanic17. MaTow's breakthrough shared a podium that gave the championship leader more breathing room without giving him the race win.

Australia followed with MaTow established as an IMS podium finisher. Monaco's four-position gain was significant on its own and more useful still when paired with Aston Martin's second trophy result elsewhere.
