Ranga20063239 won Qatar's D2 race from pole, with xAQxFr climbing from P7 to second to complete a Red Bull one-two. The pair scored 32 and 24 points respectively.
For xAQxFr, the five-place gain produced a first IMS podium. For Ranga, the unchanged P1 route delivered the race and moved the Red Bull pairing into the early D2 picture without displacing PerfectPaulie88 from the standings lead.
Five places separate two Red Bull routes
Ranga started and finished first. XAQxFr supplied the movement, gaining five places, while VeRse LGR went from P2 to third for McLaren. The same podium therefore joined control, recovery and a one-place loss.
The 56-point pair score came from one victory and one recovery rather than matching grid positions. It also gave Red Bull the only same-team one-two among Qatar's five official classifications.
A one-two that does not lead the table
PerfectPaulie88 remained first in D2 on 47 points despite scoring 17 in Qatar. VeRse LGR was second on 40. The race's Red Bull pair had changed the round more dramatically than the first two positions in the cumulative standings.
That distinction makes Qatar useful later without pretending the final contest was already formed. Ranga owned the win, xAQxFr owned the recovery, and PerfectPaulie88 still owned the two-round lead.
