Uijyl won Bahrain’s D3 race from P3 and rose five championship positions to take the lead. The 30-point result put the VCARB driver on 54 after three rounds.
Uhmm What9409 slipped from first to second on 53 points, leaving the new leader a one-point margin. ELITE HEAT SHOW finished second in Bahrain from P9, with MakeSumUP third from P4.
A five-place jump creates a one-point lead
The apparent mismatch is the point. Championship position measures the order, not the cushion: uijyl travelled from sixth to first, yet the reward at the top was the narrowest possible whole-point advantage.
VCARB also moved into the constructors’ lead on 119 points, eight ahead of Haas. Bahrain therefore changed both D3 tables in the same team’s favour without making either gap comfortable.
VCARB takes both tables, neither by much
The podium supplied the mechanism. Uijyl gained two grid positions for the win, ELITE gained seven for second and MakeSumUP gained one for third. VCARB’s lead change came from the winner rather than a team lockout.
Three rounds in, D3 had a new leader, a one-point drivers’ gap and an eight-point constructors’ gap. Bahrain’s contribution was not closure; it was the sudden compression of two live contests around VCARB.
