Wadz51 converted E1 pole into a first IMS victory at Abu Dhabi and scored 32 points for Ferrari. Quenooo29 finished second from P4 and LKR Gerardo6 third from P5.
The win moved Wadz to 92 points and expanded the championship advantage to 25 over II M4IK II on 67. One round earlier, the gap had been four.
The first win lands with the largest E1 gap yet
Wadz’s route was P1 to P1, but the cars behind did not stay put. Quenooo and Gerardo each gained two places, bringing recovery into the podium without dislodging the pole-sitter.
Ferrari also retained the constructors’ lead on 154 points, 16 ahead of VCARB. The individual maximum and the team’s 38-point round moved the two E1 gaps in Ferrari’s favour.
A breakthrough with immediate championship weight
First wins can be isolated career markers. This one was not: Wadz arrived as the leader, won from pole and left with more than six times the advantage held after Bahrain.
Abu Dhabi gave the E1 season a clearer centre of gravity. Wadz now had the first win, 92 points and a 25-point lead; Ferrari remained first among the teams by 16.
