Rochamoya converted Mexico D1 pole into victory by 0.314 seconds over P2 starter TheMekanic17. Piastrigoat completed the podium from P16 after gaining 13 positions.

TheMekanic17's 24 points kept him first in D1 on 126, 23 ahead of Rochamoya on 103. The race winner gained seven points on the leader without taking the standings lead.

A front row stays put; P16 reaches third

Rochamoya and TheMekanic17 finished where they started, separated by three tenths. Piastrigoat supplied the podium's movement, climbing 13 places and finishing 5.496 seconds behind the runner-up.

The historical comparison placed Rochamoya's win seventh among IMS's closest finishes. All six smaller margins are shown alongside it, from Baku's 0.111 to Japan's 0.305-second D2 finish.

Seven points leave twenty-three intact

Rochamoya's 31 against TheMekanic17's 24 reduced the championship gap, but the leader's existing cushion kept it at 23. Piastrigoat's 20-point recovery affected the race far more visibly than the top two standings positions.

Mexico's value lies in that contrast: no grid change between first and second, 0.314 seconds between them, and 13 places gained to complete the podium. The standings moved, but did not imitate the drama of the classification.
