XAQxFr started 14th in Las Vegas D1 and finished second for Haas, gaining 12 positions. MacoDelVolante won from P3 and Marcel Papst took third from pole.
The runner-up travelled six times as far through the order as the winner and reversed the pole-sitter's advantage entirely. P14 became the middle step of the podium.
The longest route finishes between two Red Bulls
Red Bull occupied first and third, yet the classification's largest movement belonged to Haas. XAQ's recovery denied the winning team a one-two.
The D1 title conversation focused on Sammy278 and Maco, but the result itself held an independent feat. Twelve places gained deserved more than a line beneath the championship update.
A podium built from the seventh row
No cause or lap sequence survives for the climb, so the endpoints carry the story: 14th at the start, second at the finish, 12 competitors cleared in between.
Vegas gave D1 a title swing at the front and a remarkable recovery immediately behind it. XAQxFr owned the latter outright.
