Jonno opened Season 6 with pole and victory for Williams in Austria, reaching 10 IMS wins before a 24th career start.

Karl Verghese retained second for McLaren and piastrigoat held third for VCARB, leaving the D1 podium unchanged from its grid order.

Ten wins before the odometer reaches 25

Jonno's career began with Mercedes in Season 4 and moved to Williams, gathering 16 podiums, five poles and 500 points by start 23. Ten of those starts ended in victory.

The first chapter began with Mercedes at Hungary in Season 4; Williams carried the record through Seasons 5 and 6. After 23 starts across D1 and E1, Jonno had 10 wins, 16 podiums, five poles, five fastest laps and exactly 500 points.

The new season begins at an old standard

Austria introduced a new season without interrupting the old conversion rate. Double figures arrived from pole, with almost 44 per cent of Jonno's starts now ending in victory.

Season openers are supposed to introduce uncertainty. Jonno used Austria to reintroduce a familiar certainty instead: when the front row is converted cleanly, the milestones arrive quickly.
