ContexRL won the Spa D3 race from second on the grid for Aston Martin.
Pole-sitter NesbiLeGrand finished second for Ferrari, with Smoothopertr712 holding third from P3 for McLaren and earning a first IMS podium.
Thirty-three points leave the cushion
ContexRL took 33 points out of jak75421's championship advantage. Jak remains first on 234 points, with Contex second on 191 and the gap reduced to 43.
The leader's absence from the podium magnified the winner's gain. Contex converted one grid place while the championship moved by 33.
First place holds, pressure changes
Forty-three points still exceed a standard 30-point victory, so Contex has not erased the structural advantage. Spa has, however, made that advantage materially smaller.
D3 leaves Spa with a clear contrast: jak keeps first place, Contex owns the latest win and a 33-point swing has made the remaining 43 impossible to ignore.
