Mozza43 won the Zandvoort D2 race from fourth on the grid and took the championship lead for Aston Martin.

Xaqxfr recovered from P7 to second for Ferrari, with ForestalWaif1 moving from P6 to third for VCARB.

Three cars move forward together

Mozza gained three places, xaqxfr five and ForestalWaif1 three. The podium did not include any driver who started inside the top three.

The win moves Mozza to 61 points. CONNOROCE is second on 46, making the new D2 gap 15 after Round 3.

Aston Martin turns recovery into control

The numerical gain extends beyond the race. Mozza leaves with a lead equal to half a standard 30-point winning score, giving the next round a clearly defined target.

Zandvoort's D2 result is therefore more than a midfield charge: the driver who started fourth finished first in both the race classification and the cumulative standings.
