Cloud won the China D1 race from third on the grid for McLaren, gaining two places to lead the classification.
Tratracer23 held second from the front row for Aston Martin, while Meowsy recovered from P9 to third for VCARB.
Second place moves first in the table
Tratracer leaves China as the D1 championship leader on 133 points. Meowsy is second on 128, setting the new gap at five.
The race winner and championship leader are therefore different drivers. Cloud owns the China result; Tratracer owns the cumulative advantage.
Meowsy travels six places to stay close
Meowsy's P9-to-P3 recovery supplies the podium's largest movement and leaves the VCARB driver only five behind Tratracer in the standings.
