Cloud won both D1 and E1 in China as McLaren scored 248 BOTT points. Four wins, seven podiums and eight top-five finishes made it the third-highest team round total recorded through Season 6 Round 8.
Cloud moved from P3 to first in D1 and P2 to first in E1. HPJones added McLaren's D2 win and John Marco its E2 win, giving the team four of the six divisions.
One driver supplies half the wins
D1 placed Tratracer23 second from P2 and Meowsy third from P9. E1 gave McLaren a one-two, with Raptorr advancing from P6 to second and ImYourMATe from P8 to third.
Cloud's double joined two different podium shapes: a multi-team D1 top three and a McLaren E1 lockout. The shared driver did not make the classifications interchangeable.
Third place needs its full table
McLaren's 248 sits third in the five largest team round scores to this point, with the two higher totals above it and the next two benchmarks immediately below.
VCARB still left China first in BOTT on 1053, with Ferrari on 1022 and McLaren on 1001. The record-scale round moved McLaren close without making 248 a season conclusion.
