China changed the name atop both D1 and D2. Jonno moved from 15 points behind Websey after Spain to lead 133-127, while CONNOROCE turned an 11-point deficit to HPJones into a 139-125 advantage.
The routes were different. Jonno finished D1 second from pole behind Mercedes team-mate FatCatBatMan465. CONNOROCE won D2 from P2, heading a VCARB one-two with Her Wet Cat.
Second place is enough in D1
Jonno added 21 points as Websey's total remained on 127. The resulting 133-127 line produced a six-point lead despite Jonno not winning the race, a useful reminder that championship pivots are comparisons rather than isolated results.
D2 moved more emphatically. CONNOROCE's victory raised the total from 114 to 139 while HPJones stayed at 125. A deficit of 11 became a lead of 14, and VCARB occupied both leading positions in the China classification.
One round, two crossing lines
The paired progression charts show Rounds 9 and 10 separately. D1 crosses because Jonno scores while Websey does not add; D2 crosses because CONNOROCE wins while HPJones remains fixed. The shared destination hides two distinct mechanisms.
With Silverstone-R next, neither new leader had secured the division. China mattered because it reset two chases simultaneously: six points separated D1's top pair and 14 separated D2's, each with a new name first.
