Tedoi6974 finished second in Las Vegas D2 after starting sixth, gaining four places for his first IMS podium. Tofo17 won from third and PerfectPaulie88 took third from second.
The victory went to VCARB; the largest climb among the podium finishers belonged to Tedoi. McLaren's reward was 18 points from the runner-up result and another podium in its D2 campaign.
Eighteen of McLaren's 27 points come from P2
McLaren recorded 27 BOTT points across four starts, with one podium and two top-five finishes. Tedoi alone supplied two-thirds of that score.
That contribution mattered beyond the round table. McLaren extended its D2 constructors' total from 68 to 87 and led Aston Martin by 29 points after Las Vegas.
The absent title leaders leave the margin untouched
Jakebandy8 and Ranga20063239 did not start the current D2 round, so their one-point championship separation remained 59 to 58. Tedoi used the opening beneath them to put a new name on the podium.
The next stop was Silverstone. McLaren travelled there without the Las Vegas win but with the larger prize Tedoi had helped preserve: control of the D2 teams' table.
