Eetthedust won Mexico’s D3 race from pole and claimed a first IMS victory. The Ferrari driver scored 31 points, with uijyl second and JDJT3593 third.
Uijyl’s route from P8 to P2 preserved the championship lead on 98 points. Uhmm What9409 remained second on 76, leaving a 22-point gap.
Pole holds while the leader comes from P8
The winner and the points leader reached the podium by opposite methods. Eetthedust did not surrender P1; uijyl gained six places to limit what the first-time winner could take from the championship order.
VCARB also retained the D3 constructors’ lead on 190 points, 22 ahead of Haas. Ferrari owned the race win, while both cumulative leads stayed elsewhere.
A breakthrough that does not rewrite both tables
That separation gives the first win a cleaner place in the season. Eetthedust took Mexico and a career landmark; uijyl and VCARB kept their respective 22-point advantages.
The Mexico result can hold both truths at once: a new IMS winner from pole and an established championship leader recovering from eighth to retain control.
