Meowsy climbed from P18 to third in the Mystery Race D1 classification, gaining 15 places for the joint third-biggest recovery in IMS history through Season 3 Round 7.
Piastrigoat won from P8 and TheMekanic17 finished second from P5. Meowsy gained more positions than the first two drivers combined and still had to settle for the final podium place.
Only 17 and 16 places sit above
Duxnuts69 leads the historical list with P18 to P1 and 17 places in Canada. Darth Ussh follows with 16 at Jeddah. Meowsy’s 15 ties SideFx99 and RoydeBoy1564 on the next mark.
The tie does not make the routes identical. Meowsy started P18 and finished P3; SideFx moved P20 to P5; RoydeBoy turned P16 into victory. Fifteen is the common measure, not the finishing reward.
A podium recovered, not inherited
The D1 podium began at P8, P5 and P18 on the grid. Meowsy’s start was the outlier, and the 15-place climb converted it into 20 points for Williams.
Third place can look ordinary in a headline list. P18 beside it changes the scale completely: the Mystery Race produced a podium from the back row and an entry in IMS’s top-three recovery table.
