Ferrari cracks the Mystery Race with four wins to open 71-point BOTT lead

Four Ferrari victories at the Mystery Race produced a 266-213 round advantage over VCARB, transforming an 18-point cushion into the first meaningful gap of their Season 3 fight.

Season 3 Round 7's Mystery Race produced one clear consequence: Ferrari's 18-point BOTT lead over VCARB became 71. Four wins and a 266-213 round advantage did the damage.

The score alone missed the more revealing point. Ferrari found four different winners across two circuits, while VCARB produced a 213-point reply that would have looked substantial without a rival repeatedly finishing one step higher.

Four Ferrari wins across five divisions

Piastrigoat won D1 from eighth on the grid, PerfectPaulie88 took D2 from fourth, Wadz51 converted E1 pole and JPlanteX won E2 from second. Only the D3 classification escaped Ferrari across the Mystery Race.

E1 supplied the extra weight. Darth Ussh followed Wadz51 home in second, giving Ferrari its only one-two of the round and 75 points from that division alone. Across all five classifications, the team finished with five podiums and seven top-five results from ten starts.

VCARB answers across the divisions — and still loses 53 points

VCARB's response stretched across the classifications. uijyl won D3 from third, CONNOROCE moved from tenth on the E2 grid to second, and qwAsey reet reached the D2 podium from seventh. Together those results helped produce 213 points, one win, three podiums and six top-five finishes.

Yet VCARB still lost 53 points to Ferrari across the round. That changed the rivalry more than a challenger collapse would have done: a credible reply had been met by four separate winning classifications.

The team gap opens while the D2 gap disappears

The Mystery Race D2 classification pulled in the opposite direction to BOTT. PerfectPaulie88 beat xAQxFr by 0.222 seconds, turning their one-point pre-round separation into a tie on 141. PerfectPaulie88 held first place; xAQxFr left with exactly the same total.

Monza came next. Ferrari had converted a narrow BOTT lead into a meaningful cushion, but VCARB had put drivers on three podiums and won the one division Ferrari did not. Round 8 would show whether the Mystery Race had altered the balance of the season or merely sharpened the response.
