Woolie MD and geo2002 each started seventh and finished third in Hungary, securing first IMS podiums in D1 and E2 respectively. The symmetry joined two otherwise separate classifications.
Woolie's recovery placed Kick Sauber behind Jonno and Websey in D1. geo2002 followed Her Wet Cat and Tedoi6974 in E2, putting Williams on that podium.
The same gain, in different races
Both drivers gained four places. Neither won, neither began near the front row and neither needed the other result to make the achievement meaningful. Placed together, however, the matching routes reveal Hungary's knack for producing opportunity beyond the obvious names.
The classifications do not preserve the manner of either recovery, so there is no need to manufacture a shared race story. The verified connection is cleaner: P7 to P3, twice, with a first career podium at the end of each line.
A podium can widen the season's cast
The title leaders remained Websey in D1 and Tedoi6974 in E2. Woolie and geo2002 did something different: they expanded the list of drivers with a tangible Season 4 result before Spa.
That is sufficient substance for a paired breakthrough story. Hungary did not crown either driver; it gave both a first podium through the same four-place climb.
