Techubi won Canada's D1 race from P18, beating P3 starter Cambell Adams by 0.057 seconds. The margin was the closest finish in IMS history through Season 4 Round 8, joining a 17-place recovery to a gap measured in thousandths.

Websey completed the podium for Red Bull from P2. The three routes were radically different: Techubi gained 17 places, Adams one and Websey lost one, yet the first two reached the official order almost together.

Fifteen grid places disappear

Techubi began 15 positions behind Adams and 16 behind Websey. By the finish, the Kick Sauber was first, Adams had a breakthrough first IMS podium in second, and the championship leader was third.

The classification can prove the endpoints, not the sequence of passes that connected them. Its most striking relationship remains complete: the lowest-starting driver on the podium became the winner, while the difference to second was only 0.057 seconds.

The smallest number gets a full table

The historical comparison shows the five closest IMS finishes and highlights Canada in first. That is the necessary evidence behind the superlative: 0.057 sits above the next four margins rather than floating as an isolated record claim.

Websey still led the D1 standings on 127 points after Canada, 35 ahead of Jonno. The championship view belonged to continuity; the race belonged to a completely different scale, from eighteenth on the grid to first by fifty-seven thousandths.
