JPlanteX won both D2 and E2 at the Season 4 opener in Australia, starting from pole in each classification. The two victories accounted for most of Ferrari's three-win round; Darth Ussh supplied the third in E1.
Ferrari scored 134.2 BOTT points from ten starts, 40.9 more than VCARB. Three wins, three podiums and five top-five finishes put the team first after the opening event, but the distinctive part of the round belonged to one name appearing atop two separate divisions.
Two poles become two wins
The D2 podium kept the first two grid positions intact: JPlanteX led Harv, while eetthedust advanced from P11 to third. E2 moved more dramatically behind the winner, with Rickk116 climbing from P6 to second and Tedoi6974 from P8 to third.
Those recoveries matter because they separate the shared headline from two different races. The common thread is narrower: JPlanteX began each from the front and finished each in the same place. IMS had two classifications, but Australia had one D2-and-E2 winner.
Ferrari cashes in across the card
Darth Ussh's E1 victory meant Ferrari won three of the five divisions. Websey took D1 for Red Bull and Murts9691 took D3 for Williams, so the opening winners were spread across three teams even as Ferrari built the strongest total.
The first standings therefore contained two versions of the same advantage. JPlanteX led D2 and E2 on 26 points in each, while Ferrari led BOTT on 134.2. Australia did not settle anything; it did give Season 4 a genuinely rare first image: one driver on two top steps.
