VCARB led the Texas BOTT round on 133 points, replacing Austria winner Williams at the top of the weekend classification.
The total came from 11 starts, with one victory, four podiums and six top-five finishes. Its strength was concentration near the front rather than a stack of wins.
A round win without the season lead
Williams remains first overall on 289 points. VCARB moves to 248, leaving 41 points between the opening two teams after Texas.
McLaren sits third on 187. That puts VCARB 61 points ahead of third while still chasing Williams—the only member of the top three to have led neither Texas nor the D1 race.
Depth makes the difference
Four VCARB podiums across the divisions meant the team could win the round with a single race victory. Six top-five finishes gave that podium return a broader scoring base.
The Texas result changes the BOTT pressure without changing first place: Williams must now defend a 41-point lead from the team that just beat it over a full weekend.
