Jan won the Zandvoort E3 race from third on the grid to claim a first IMS victory for McLaren.
NesbiLeGrand supplied the race's largest recovery, climbing from P16 to P2 for Ferrari. Aardvark advanced from P12 to third for Kick Sauber.
Fourteen places create the lead change
Jan's two-place gain secured the victory; Nesbi's 14-place gain secured first in the championship. The same podium therefore rewarded two different kinds of progress.
Nesbi leaves Zandvoort on 62 points, one ahead of Elias_endale on 61. It is the narrowest listed championship gap after Round 3.
McLaren owns the win, Ferrari the table
Jan's breakthrough was one of two McLaren victories at Zandvoort. Nesbi's runner-up finish did not add a third, but it did put Ferrari's driver at the head of E3.
The next round begins with a split headline and almost no buffer: a new winner in Jan, a new leader in Nesbi and a single point between first and second.
