NesbiLeGrand won the Silverstone E3 race from eighth on the grid, gaining seven positions for Ferrari.

Championship leader Elias_endale moved from P5 to second for Kick Sauber. Pole-sitter Jan finished third for McLaren.

Ten points taken from the cushion

Elias remains first on 113 points, with Nesbi now second on 106. The victory reduced the championship advantage by ten points and left only seven between them.

That compression came despite Elias finishing second. Nesbi needed the full seven-place recovery and the win to make the runner-up result costly.

The pole-sitter is displaced twice

Jan began first but finished behind both title leaders. Nesbi and Elias together gained ten grid places, placing the championship's top two at the head of the race.

Silverstone leaves E3 with a direct contest: the leader has seven points, the pursuer has the latest win and both have just occupied the first two finishing positions.
