Season 2 at halfway: a D1 lead change, four established chases and E2's first order

TheMekanic17 leaves Texas leading the D1 championship on 124 points, 11 ahead of piastrigoat. A 31-8 round swing overturned the Ferrari driver's 12-point advantage from Portugal and produced Season 2's sharpest mid-campaign lead change.

The same round added E2 to the programme. Quenooo29 won from pole on 32 points and opened an eight-point lead over Murts9691, giving the season a fifth drivers' table at exactly the moment its oldest contest changed hands.

Three leaders retain measurable protection

ForestalWaif1 leads D2 by 35 points over PerfectPaulie88. Her Wet Cat holds 19 over NesbiLeGrand in D3, while Darth Ussh carries 21 over Texas winner Tedoi6974 in E1.

Those gaps are not interchangeable. Forestal has more than a race win of cover, Her Wet Cat and Ussh do not, and D1 has already demonstrated how quickly a 12-point lead can become an 11-point deficit.

The team championships tell another story

Red Bull leads Ferrari by 11 in D1, VCARB holds 36 over McLaren in D2 and Ferrari is 95 clear of Aston Martin in D3. E1 has Ferrari 21 ahead of Red Bull; the new E2 table begins with Ferrari six points ahead of McLaren despite quenooo's victory.

Across all divisions, Ferrari still leads the BOTT standings on 904 points, 162 ahead of Red Bull and 334 clear of VCARB. Red Bull won Texas 164-155, but one nine-point round swing is a nibble at that larger deficit, not a meal.

Five rounds remain, but only four for E2

Jeddah begins the run through Baku, the second Mystery Race, Australia and Japan. D1 reaches it after a lead reversal; D2, D3 and E1 arrive with established leaders under different pressures; E2 arrives with one result and no historical cushion at all. Halfway is less a verdict than a neatly organised set of arguments.
