Ferrari finished Season 3 first in BOTT on 1,512 points, 80 ahead of VCARB, but the order had changed hands repeatedly. VCARB even won the Las Vegas round 183-174 after the season outcome had moved beyond a nine-point correction.
The driver rivalries took three other forms: xAQxFr and PerfectPaulie88 reached exact equality twice in D2; Wadz51 survived Darth Ussh’s 34-point finale swing in E1; JPlanteX overturned an 18-point Monza deficit in E2 when quenooo29 did not start Las Vegas.
Ferrari–VCARB: five early changes, then two decisive rounds
VCARB led after Singapore, Ferrari after Qatar, VCARB again through Mexico and Ferrari from Miami onward. Miami converted a 38-point deficit into an 18-point lead; the Mystery Race then expanded 18 to 71 through a 266-213 round score.
That was the rivalry’s hinge. VCARB answered at Las Vegas and still finished 80 behind because Ferrari’s decisive work had arrived before the finale, in two successive rounds worth swings of 56 and 53.
D2: one point, level, level, five points
XAQ trailed PerfectPaulie by one after Mexico, led by one after Miami, then shared 141 and 167 across the Mystery Race and Monza. Las Vegas finally separated them 197-192, a five-point finish after two rounds of numerical refusal.
E1: 38 points become four in one night
Wadz led Ussh by 23 after Miami, 32 after the Mystery Race and 38 after Monza. Ussh then won Las Vegas and outscored Wadz 40-6, cutting the final margin to 210-206 without quite completing the reversal.
E2: the lead changes at the last possible moment
Quenooo led JPlanteX by 20 after Mexico, 29 after Miami, eight after the Mystery Race and 18 after Monza. The leader did not start Las Vegas; JPlanteX scored 25 and finished seven clear, 184-177.
Four rivalries, four conclusions: Ferrari survived a late round loss, xAQ broke a double tie, Wadz survived a near-overturn and JPlanteX completed one. Season 3’s best contests were not interchangeable because the lines reached the finale from entirely different directions.
