Themilkincid advanced from P8 to second at Zandvoort-R and secured a first IMS podium for Mercedes. Only winner Emdiska HD finished ahead; ForestalWaif1 took third.
Six places represented the largest gain among the podium finishers. Emdiska and ForestalWaif1 each gained three, so the runner-up travelled twice as far through the official grid-to-finish comparison.
P8 becomes a career marker
A first podium can be obscured when it shares a classification with a first-time winner. Themilkincid's result deserves its own line: P8 to P2, six positions gained and Mercedes represented on the E1 rostrum.
The six-place difference between grid and flag gives the finish its scale. Second place was not simply the position beside Emdiska's win; it was the endpoint of the podium's longest climb.
A breakthrough beyond the title lead
Darth Ussh's 90 points dominated the post-round table. Themilkincid's podium offered a different editorial perspective: not every meaningful result needs to alter first place in the championship.
Before Baku, Mercedes could point to a verified E1 breakthrough and the driver could point to a six-place recovery. That is a complete story without pretending it settled anything larger.
