Uhmm What9409 converted D3 pole into victory at Singapore and claimed a first IMS win. The Haas driver scored 31 points to take the inaugural Season 3 championship lead.
The win came under a very different kind of pressure in the classification. Uijyl climbed from P11 to second and JPThaJoker rose from P10 to third, putting two VCARBs behind the pole-sitter.
One driver holds position; two come through the order
Uhmm What’s grid-to-finish line reads P1 to P1. The challengers’ lines read P11 to P2 and P10 to P3. The evidence does not preserve their individual passes, but it does preserve three sharply different routes to the same podium.
Uijyl’s 24 points left a seven-point drivers’ gap after the opener. At team level, Haas led VCARB by only one point, 45 to 44, despite taking the victory.
Maximum points, minimum team-room
That contrast gave the opener two scales. For the driver, pole and victory produced a clean first landmark. For Haas, the same result bought only a one-point cushion because VCARB placed both cars on the podium.
Singapore therefore began D3 with clarity at the front and compression behind it: Uhmm What had the win and a seven-point personal lead, while Haas had scarcely any margin at all in the constructors’ contest.
