Ferrari led the Qatar BOTT round on 134 points without winning any of the six races. Three podiums and six top-five finishes across 12 starts created the team victory.

Williams finished second on 111 points and McLaren third on 105. Ferrari's 23-point advantage over Williams came from accumulation rather than a winner's bonus.

No top step, still top team

The six winners represented Williams, Haas, Aston Martin, McLaren and Alpine, with Aston Martin winning twice through jazzy-draught9. Ferrari's name was absent from that list and present at the top of the team table.

That contrast explains BOTT better than another record total. Team scoring rewards the full field of starts, and Ferrari placed enough cars high enough to beat teams with victories.

Depth finds another route to first

Ferrari also retained the season lead on 1669 points, 520 ahead of Williams. Qatar's winless round victory was a compact example of how that larger advantage had been assembled.

The result was almost cheeky in its efficiency: five other teams supplied the race winners, and Ferrari still left with the round.
