Aston Martin won two of Qatar's six races through jazzy-draught9, who took both D3 and E3. The team nevertheless scored 82 BOTT points and finished sixth.

Ferrari led on 134 without a win, followed by Williams on 111 and McLaren on 105. Alpine's 100 and Kick Sauber's 85 also exceeded Aston Martin's total.

Two victories do not equal team supremacy

Aston Martin recorded two wins, two podiums and two top-five finishes from 12 starts. Every podium was a victory, leaving a steep drop beyond the very top results.

Ferrari's profile was the opposite: no wins, three podiums and six top fives. Qatar became a useful comparison between concentrated success and distributed scoring.

Jazzy supplies the peaks

The double still mattered enormously at race level; it simply answered a different question from BOTT. Jazzy made Aston Martin the weekend's only multi-win team, not its highest-scoring team.

Qatar's lesson was mercilessly clear: two trophies can sit beside sixth place when the championship counts every start.
